Starting with 2013, NYCPSFF has commissioned film related projects to present on award night, last night of the festival. The idea behind these projects is to collaborate with artists of other art forms. In 2013 we commissioned three short films from PictureStart alumni filmmakers based on paintings from the book LOVE IS, our partner for that year. This year (2014), we are working with poets. We look forward to presenting this project.
